September Civic Association Community Meeting

Wednesday, September 14, 7:30-8:30pm with Meetup Afterwards

Our community meeting will take place over Zoom from 7:30-8:30, and then we'll meet up after at Down the Street! We hope you'll join us to learn more about what's happening in the neighborhood and how you can get involved. Want the Zoom details? National Night Out

Tuesday, October 4, 6:30-8:00pm

Dust off your cooler and camping chairs and chill some frosty beverages to spend some time in front of your house for National Night Out! This is the time to meet your neighbors, get to know them, and have a good time.

Now's the time to text the neighbors you know and make a plan!

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign which promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live.

Neighborhood Cleanup @ Cottage Grove Park

Saturday, October 22, 9:00-11:00am

Pitch in and help clean up Cottage Grove! All ages welcome. Come by anytime from 9-11am to get trash bags and gloves, and we'll assign you to an area of the neighborhood that needs some help (or you can pick your favorite!).Breakfast and coffee served until we run out!

Play Date in the Park @ Cottage Grove Park

Saturday, December 10, 9:00-10:30am

Bring your kids to Cottage Grove Park to meet the neighbors and have some fun! We'll also be participating in a visioning exercise where we'll draw and write what we'd like to see for a new playground. Light kid snacks and drinks will be provided. we hope to see you there!
